The Hex shape is at the base of the spike and enables a socket to fit the spike. This is a much easier fitting than the old style slotted spike key, which can still be used
The Hex Flange will prevent spikes from being stuck when they've worn too low.
The Hex socket key can be purchased as a seperate item. The wrench is not included in this item
The Hex socket size is 1/4 inch or 6.3mm

These spikes are manufactured from high grade steel. They're very hard and durable. Ideal for sprinting on track and horizontal jumps
